How Many Inches Beyond The Window Frame Would The Rod Extend?
To provide max window exposure, let drapery rod extend at least 6-10 inches on either side.
What's the Height from Frame to Floor?
For soft top style ( tab top, 4-in-1, rod pocket, back tab ), the drapery length is measured from top of rod to floor. For double french pleat and tailored pleat style, the curtain length is measured from rod ring eyelet or track ring eyelet to floor. For grommet style, the length is measured from top of rod to floor.
What's the Height from Frame to Floor?

We recommend curtain rod to be as high as possible, 2-3 inches below the ceiling. In general, rods should be mounted at least 6-8" above window frame, if you have wall space.
